Artist bio: I was born in 1954 in the Upper Ninth Ward of New Orleans, as a young adult I began noticing that I had some artist talent, this led me to acquire an associates degree in Advertising Art from Delgado Jr. College.

After college in 1976 I opened my own sign business with a partner and we began hand painting signs and displays all around New Orleans for the next 40 years, and we are still operating today. However the sign business changed over the years to a highly computer driven graphic type business.

I found that I missed a brush in my hand, so in June of 2010 I began painting first with watercolor then Acrylics, which I really enjoy. I find that painting is very relaxing and a great way to relieve stress. I am currently a member of 3 different Art Guilds in the metropolitan area and was the Bridge House/Grace House Cochon Cotillion Poster Artist for 2016, 2017 and 2018.

New Orleans Art Association since 2012, currently in charge of setting up and removing the guild's event tent at Palmer Park on the last Saturday of each month.

Jefferson Art Guild since 2012, three time Artist of the Year recipient. Painted a Utility Box on West Metairie & David Dr.

Metairie Art Guild since 2012, Artist of the Year for 2015 and 2017 President in 2016.
