SPENCER RACCA Though a product of Louisiana Cajun country, Spencer Curtis Racca has the soul of a 1940s pop star. His first driver’s license provided him with a mobile rehearsal space to woodshed the music of Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Dean Martin and others – a path that eventually led him to the stage of BB’s Stage Door Canteen and the title Stage Door Idol 2016. A trip to Nashville at age 19 with his father (also a singer-songwriter) marked Spencer’s first public performance – a show-stopping karaoke rendition of Sinatra’s That’s Life. He’s been singing for a diverse array of audiences ever since, including the 2011 Dallas Model and Talent Expo (where he took the event’s top performance award) and venues in Atlanta, New York, and of course New Orleans (where’s he’s headlined the House of Blues Foundation Room). Currently Spencer fronts two shows in the 2017-2018 season at The National WWII Museum in his own showcase and a tribute to his idol Frank Sinatra.
